The Nest is a Kenyan multidisciplinary collective working since 2012 with the aim of exploring identities, re-imagining our pasts and inhabiting mythical African futures.
The collective create work within the fields of film, visual arts, music and fashion. The Nest stirs up a dialogue amongst audiences with thought provoking work. Their work touches upon taboo subjects and often incorporates thoughts about the future, which will increase African society moving forward. We created a brand identity for The Nest which reflects this through a custom made logo with letters drawn in a square format paired with a Haas Unica typographic system.
